Evo 8 Reflash went wrong.. HELP

today we try to reflash th eevo 8 useing ecu flash n when the map done load we try to start the car no good n then we try to load a stock map still no good such on ..

ps.. we drivet he car perfect all everything before we trything


anyone got any idels?

First thing - did you keep a copy of the original stock map? if so go and make sure the immobiliser code is in there if so - email it to yourself and write it down on a piece of paper..

Now when you say it doesn't start - does it kick over? or nothing?

well it does crank tun over pefect but na i dont have the stock my i copy any more i lost it.. do i need the immobilser code how can i get it?

ok same thing happened to me a my bad battery was the culpret resulting in a low volt short that shorted out my ecu and immobilizer....it was a 2500 mitsubishi warranty claim and i was lucky with my mitsu dealership....goodluck....

if you have lost the immobiliser code then you are in for problems..

there are ways around it - just search and ye shall find...

you will have to modify your rom to disable the immobilizer, good luck.... you really should have saved the stock rom
