You added the code to your xml file in the correct place? If you close and open ecuflash there should be no reason that it doesn't show.

<table name="Code" type="Static X Axis" elements="1" scaling="Hex16">
<data>Hex16</data>
</table>
<table name="Address" type="Static Y Axis" elements="20">

<data>3FD8E</data>
<data>3FD90</data>
<data>3FD92</data>
<data>3FD94</data>

The periphery2 entry needs to be on a new line after that last </table> value.

Screw Obama mrfred for president. I drive 40 miles to work, and yesterday it would studder about every 3 minutes. This seems to have fixed it. Thanks

this wouldn't fix a sputtering problem.

I believe it would since the reason why it sputters is from the ecu throwing the code itself.

I have the p0300 code on and don't get sputtering...so naturally I assume he has/had another issue and is mistakenly attributing the fix to this change.

Whenever my car threw the P0300 on the 94170008 ROM it would go into a sputtering failsafe mode that would reset as soon as I let completely off the throttle. On the 94170015 ROM it doesn't seem to have the same effect. I assume the '05 ROM would be similar to 94170015.

Definatly works! I usually get the code on 10 minute drives. I've been driving the car for a week and a half and no light! Thanks so much!

My car (2004 rs) also threw this code on the highway as the car sputtered. Since it only threw it on the highway I could clear it and not have it for a while if I did normal city driving. When I installed some gsc 280 cams the light was constantly on.

I was hoping this would fix the sputtering issue as I want to get into another evo soon if this is no longer a problem!

I also noticed a slight hickup before the 2nd "SES" light triggering code came on.

So has your car stopped hiccuping?
