Please forgive me, I'm new to tuning and it's frustrating reading all these threads that don't seem to relate. The message you described (unknown ROM image) is exactly the message I see after I try to read the ecu though I got the message 'ECUflash success - the operation completed successfully'.

What do you mean installed a different ROM? How do you do that? Does that allow you to read the existing files? I know what I want to adjust but the car was apparently tweaked before and is running very well at 15 psi boost. The thing is, I don't want to adjust unless I know where I am and would like to revert to the existing settings if I run into problems.

Any advice/help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

I'm assuming you're selecting the right veh when reading from the ecu. It won't pull anything up on the left side after you're done reading(rom info, fuel, timin, etc)?
