"comport read C 0"
It will then try to re-connect, it throws the same three messages, then it cancels the action. Currently I am using a beta version of 2.6 that does work(not sure which one).
Thanks.
Any more info on this issue? I just got my AEM WB hooked up through an actual serial port and I think I'm getting the same problem with both beta 7 and beta 8 on WinXP. A separate window pops up with the comport message and an OK button (I think it's labeled OK, I can confirm later) that you have to click on before evoscan continues logging. Each time you click the button a new window pops up with the comport message but cycles from "comport Read A ###" through "comport Read B ###" This issue does not occur in evoscan 2.5 so I wonder if it's related to your new serial communications code to address the Vista 64bit issues.

The more I use evoscan the more impressed I am. Sure it's got it's issues but what piece of software doesn't. Keep up the great work Hamish!

Drill - You can wire your wireband INTO the ECU and log through that. It's much faster + doesn't have any of those dumb LC1 serial issues...

Tephra can you link to an explanation how to do on Evo IX Euro.

I am looking for a method to log my WB and MAP into the same log as all other EvoScan information.

Thanks GiGas

search for MrFred's thread...

Does your WB02 has a 5v analogue output?

if so just wire it upto rear 02 ADC input on the ECU (signal only, leave heater alone)

then u just gotta work out the scaling...

ok

can you tell the WB02 to output different volts for AFR's?

ie
0v = 10AFR
5v = 17AFR
linear in between?

that will make working out your evoscan scaling/formula much easier..

ie Eval=(17-10)*x/255+10

So when you have 5volts your formula will spit out 17AFR which is correct..

let me know if u need help with it

When looking in the TE WB02 data scheed http://wbo2.com/2j/default.htm I found that
AFR = (V*2)+9
or
V=(AFR-9)/2

ok so
0v = 9AFR
5v = 19AFR

not too bad...

Evoscan formula = 10*x/255+9

Ok then.
I will have to replace the signal wire from the second stock O2 sensor whit the 5v output signal from my WB device.
Make an change to EvoScan formula and then I should be don.

Will this give issues on the MIL ( error codes ) ?

As of today the second O2 sensor are just lifted out from the direct exhorst gas - and cause no MIL.

Best thing todo is:

1) leave rear 02 sensor in place and connected - for heater related CEL's
2) use tephramod 5.10 or above - for rear02 signal related CEL's
3) replace the signal wire of the rear02 with that of the wb02 so you can log wb02 via ECU

That makes sense

Thanks alot, I will look up the ECU pinout to finde the rear 02 ADC input on the ECU.
Try to finde the program mod you have made, and solve how to implement it to my ROM.
Next I will work out how to change the formula in EvoScan 2.6

Local time is 02:43 so I need to sleep before work :-(

Thanks GiGas
