As the title stated, I have a 05 Evo 8 using 96940011 ECU. I am using the latest version of Ecuflash right now. I've search but only saw a different ECU. So if anybody can point me to the right direction, please do. Thank you .

Which is to say: most of us who ran 96940011 from the factory, but wanted to use a Tephra-patched ROM, ended up switching to 96530006.

 

There is a tephra patched ROM for 96940011 prior to the map switching. I think this was 5.1?

So, if you want map switching and all to come next, then you will have to use 96530006. If you just want NLTS, knocklight, etc, then you can still stick with 96940011. I have yet to make the switch myself. I keep adding mrfred's standalone patches to my 96940011 ROM since that's what I am still using.

If/when we get a speed density patch and/or a patch to use the GM ethanol sensor, then I will switch for sure.

Ah, good point; I should have mentioned that. I just assumed everyone was like me and upgraded because they wanted map switching.

As Logic stated, I switched to the 96530006 ROM for map switching due to running E85 now. All future developments will not be included on the 0011 ROM. If you just want the knocklight and such, then 96940011 5.1 is still good.
