ECU Flash on a 1.6L Mivec

ECU Flash on a 1.6L Mivec

A customer has a 1.6L Lancer that was turbocharged. I converted it to use an Evo 8 ECU so I can flash with ECU Flash. It has worked out very well. He now wants to convert to a Mivec head. This is the VTEC style Mivec and not the cam gear type used on the 9. I was thinking of using Tephras dual MAP ROM for the high cam and low cam maps but I would need to modify the code to use some current output such as EGR or the intercooler waterspray to actually trigger the Mivec. I would think it shuld be activated based on RPM as well as load.

I would need someone to do the code for this for me as that part is over my head. This is something I am wiling to pay for, so if Tephra, Mrfred, or any of you other code patchers are willing to do this, please send me a PM or reply here.

cmon evo-m tuners one of you guys like mellon etc, help out ma boy here, he is the toughest mitsu tuner back home in jamaica, so people talk to him, he will be doing my ecu on my evo 8 when i am done with my mods

good stuff , how did you work the map and iat sensors . i was lookin into this for a friends conversion to 4g93 1.8l n/a conversion , as the ecu grounds a wire for mivec , i was goin to use a shift light he already had in the car to activate a relay to ground the mivec solenoid .

This car uses a MAF. As a last resort I was thinking of doing something like that, but it would be nice to have the ECU doing it all.
