Any howto on fixing the endian issue?

I have always been using Ecuflash 1.29a till I couldn't get it to work with my new Openport 2.0 cable, I am now forced to use Ecuflash 1.40 instead. I understand there's some endian issue that needs to be fixed before the maps will be displayed properly. Is there a howto to getting this done?

Just change references in your definition files from endian="little" to endian="big"

I tried changing that in all the definition files located within rommetadata/mitsubishi/evo but its still gibberish on the load/rpm columns.
