Ecuflash 1.41 isnt public yet because of these issues.
Ricer happen to get a copy and has proceeded to brick his ecu and give it out to more people who have in turn bricked more ecu.....

What dont you get?
I think what Ricer did was a blessing in disguise. Imagine if the software was released and Colby did not know about the glitch that made ordinary users brick their ECUs. Things would have been much worse and there would have been 100s of bricked ECUs rather than 2 or 3.

I for one would not flash my ECU with a beta software, but Ricer did it and took the responsibility for it. It turned out to be a good thing for the community (bad for him, though), since now we know that there is an issue with flashing the X MR with the software.

Can we put these type of posts in a new thread and not noise up a informative thread?

It's not a issue with the MR ECU from what I have seen.

I just wanted to know what cable and adapters I need to be able to tune? I see that there are a few things avalible but not sure which I should get. Please let me know which I should get from here: http://www.tactrix.com/index.php?cPath=24_48.

Anything else I need? Oh and the MR will use the same steps as tuning the GSR correct?

All you need for the X is the openport 2.0 $169 kit. Buy it from tactrix!

The MR will have the same steps as far as tuning goes but of course will have different maps that the GSR doesnt.

I don't need all the adapters? Should I get the WB from them?

No for the X you do not need the adapters. Cable and openport plug only are needed.

Get the WB from anywhere you want, thats totally up to you.

It is max TPS voltage at given RPMs that allows running Closed Loop.
You can see that there is no OL at 5250 rpm allowed.

Its the other way round .. the max TPS allowed to run under closed loop .. beyond that voltage, the ECU transitions to openloop ..
from 5250rpm onwards the car ONLY runs in open loop

Normally not touched, but if you want to run openloop most/all the time this table and open loop load tables are the tables to change ..

So how do u tune that table to run open loop all the time? Set the values to 0?

My mistake - should be max TPS voltage that allows running closed loop.

If you want to run all the time open loop set all values to 0.
