DSSA, sorry to see you singled yourself out, feeling guilty? There have been a BUNCH of people who have asked the same thing in this thread. I was simply stating the software is free and it's hard to push a group of guys who are working for free on something.

As far as tuning and such, some of didn't take as long to learn how to do it I guess. I didn't see any JNZ EVO's on the top 25 list this year, did I miss something?

Have a nice day.

I don't think I saw anywhere in my post where I was putting them down for their efforts or their product. I simply would like to see more updates from them as to what time-frames are for all of the people who purchased the 2.0 cable in hopes of getting into their X's Ecu from since July.

To clarify, I'm not trying to pin them down to a "Release date will be XX/XX/XXXX" post but just to give everyone a heads up as to what kind of issues they're having and if it looks like it will be a viable solution anytime soon, or if there are a lot of issues that need to be ironed out and we're looking at many more months.

I'd be more then happy to do some testing on the current beta if needed as I rarely if ever drive our shop X and have been using stand-alones and flashing software since well before (years in fact) a lot of places got past using simplistic setups like VPCs and AFCs exclusively, if more input would be helpful.
Ill gladly give you the information that was already discussed in this thread several times.....

Colby wants to release it as soon as it is stable.
Getting it stable has taken a while.
It seems that once we think all is well, POOF another ecu has an issue.

There are some JDM ecu's that seem to have issues and a few other USDM issues. I have had an ECU brick. It has since been fixed.... One step closer every day.... We also want a definitive map setup and to understand what everything does before released whilly nilly to the rest of the world to possibly break their $30-40K cars.

David,

The fact that it was posted directly under my post asking that exact question is a little obvious. I realize that your skills of redirection are pretty honed at this point, but not everyone is oblivious to your techniques.

As I told you before, if you have something to say to me, feel free to PM me directly instead of cluttering up the board with digs that barely skirt vendor on vendor attacks.

Otherwise, if other people were asking the same question, obviously we're all inferior to your ultimate wisdom and honestly wanted an answer to the question I asked, and didn't find the answer we were looking for "already posted in this thread".

I suppose, we're all stupid.

Thanks for the update guys. I think that you did a pretty good summation of what a lot of us were asking and not getting from this convoluted thread.

Much appreciation, keep up the good work, and much appreciation for what you guys are doing for the whole community!

Thanks for the hard work and for the update!

My question is... It seems like there are a few venders that are using ECUflash program already. ( Jester, TTP ect..) Is this true? Did they pick up the beta version and start using it? Or they using something compleatley different?

Again thanks for the hard work and keep it up. I would love to help but I think I would be more of a problem asking more questions than doing any good.

GST, English Racing, World One, and HB Speed are in the beta group. TTP has been working with gunzo, but is not in the beta group.

Now that bricked ECUs can be repaired, its not so scary to mess with the beta versions, but anyone messing around with the beta version should be aware that Tactrix is going on vacation for a while starting at the end of this month. If you brick your ECU during their vacation, you'll be without a working ECU until they start up shop again.
