I think its safe to assume that this is a major release. Damn! just look at the number of fixes and added new features!!!!! Finally, I can start putting my OP 2.0 cable to some use, if I can remember where I put it .

Well I encountered a problem....I have a ECU that has been Works Flashed and it appears locked as it gives an error every time I try to read the ECU. Anyone know any more? Can you flash over the Works? I don't want to try and flash over a Works tune without knowing compatibility issues.

 

ecutek locked the ecu with evo 8 and 9. if thats how you had it tuned, its likely its also locked for the evoX. however there was a simple work around that malibujack made for the 8/9 to unlock it.

 

Works locks the ECU. Ecutek doesnt on the X.

 

So does that mean I can't ready it AND write or I just can't read?
