Good to hear you like it. I just ordered the tactrix cable yesterday and am awaiting the arrival of it. I just got my EVO X GSR last month so I'm basically stock with a K&N drop-in. It's very reassuring to hear it is safe to use, since I have no tuning experience at all with the EVO. And am trying to learn through ECUflash. Hopefully it will be a good experience Thanks for the write up.

Good write up Noize. Good information in there for those who aren't familiar with it.

Post this up in the Ecuflash forum and tell them you need a stock ROM. Tell the year of your MR, and they can hook you up!

Never underestimate the power of end user enthusiasts. I remember reading an article about GM powertrain engineers on a particular V8 project actually using software and tuning suites written for the aftermarket as their internal tools were vastly inferior in comparison. It was a pretty cool read.

That's related to the ISCV settings. I haven't looked at that code yet, but maybe gunzo has.

Did anyone figure out how to uncap the boost limit in the rom so we can log above 22.2 psi?

Is the TPMS reprogram part of the ECU or is it unrelated? If this can be made part of ECUFlash, provided it's possible, it'd be a neat alternative to dealer visits.

Correct, i was responding to xbox4414's question on the 75inHg / 22.2 PSI limit.

I know Gunzo was looking into it and Verkion was testing
