Isn't that the same version that's been up for over a month? I thought it didn't write to the ECU.

Confused...

Still only beta. razorlab was adding a convenient link for when the first public version is released.

+1 that's why I am just going to pay for maps from tuners, like Jestr or some of the other ones who offer that service.

Is there a book on tuning? I do not exactly understand Ecuflash. Can I use it in conjunction with my ecutek?

I loathe the fuel maps...especially the low octane map...I should never see sub 9 AFR's from any tune...ever. Hopefully there will be some good base tune maps up in this thread soon. Thanks for all the info!

You wouldn't really use it "in conjunction with" your EcuTek tune. EcuFlash is a program that allows for tuning of your ecu much like EcuTek does. If you wanted to modify your EcuTek tune or get rid of it and put a whole new tune on the car you could do that with EcuFlash.

You won't see sub-9's in the true AFR readings, it's only the way that EcuFlash shows the data to appear like an afr table. If you correlated a wideband to that table you'd see that what would appear to be in the 9's afr range would actually be closer to high 10's or so on a wideband. Keep that in mind when the program is released, you wouldn't want to set your tables to what you "think" they should sit at AFR-wise and end up with extremely lean conditions at high boost settings.
