Almost spot on there mrfred.

I updated post #2 to show the path of a stock 10 through the ignition and fuel maps:

Thanks for the quick response SiC and mrfred. I figured it would never be in the 260+ load percentage range but wanted to get some confirmation from those of you in the know. Like I said I will be using a wideband when I'm actually tuning but trying to get a good understanding of how it's looking now before I start. ~Trent

how does the X chose between what mivec map to use? as there are 2 maps for intake and exhaust does it have to reach certain parameters to meet before it switch's between the 2 i.e knock, afr, load as it does with the feuling maps

I actually heard this switches in accordance with engine coolant temps. 77 degrees celcius is the temp I heard it switches at.

yeah the X is an interesting beast for sure... reminds me a bit of subaru sti tuning with its tables and res.

I love the X... ours is up 75whp from stock with the basic mods and a retune.

that is awesome!
so that's mean you can adjust the throttle respond too?
I got a rev hanging every time i race. I cant tell you how much i hate that.
I like immediate rpm drops, and i hate when my rpm stocks for a second or 3...
I cant understand why they did that. anyway.
My question is , can you change the throttle map to be closest to the cable like feeling?

Your rev hang can be addressed with your Ecutek tune. Please let your tuner know about the problem and he can address it for you.

hahaha wonderful!

Looking at them i am somewhat confused (godilovecablethrottles). what is the z axis? is it % of what you give the pedal. So if the map is 60% does that mean it will open the throttle by 60% of what the pedal is at? I know the STi will give greater throttle then what the pedal is at which feels a tad weird. So at part throttle it might give 10% more to make the car feel "peppier". Do you know if you can go over 100% in those cells?

I know this is all new so you probably dont have all the answers yet. I am just excited to see all this open source stuff for the X owners.
