Okay, appreciate it. I'm thinking they may have not hooked something up properly after changing out the master cylinder and I don't think they bleed the brake line either.

I have placed an order for an OP 2.0 from Tactrix, but have no idea if I need additional cables (does my OP 2.0 order come with everything I need?), or how everything is supposed to work in general. For someone coming in fresh to this process there is almost no information readily available to explain the dummy newb questions.

Can Macs be used - looks like its v1.38 only for OSX? Is it just a different version number from the PC version but still workable?

Thanks!

Because it was off topic and the information was not positive. Later found out that the original unbricking method did not work so you dont need a breakout box. Search other threads on this site for unbricking ECUs, there should be at least 2.

So the Mac OS-X version of ECUflash is different from the PC one. Will the OSX version work for Evo X's?

Edit - nevermind Evoscan wont work on Macs anyways.

Hey guys. I apologize in advance for asking a question that was already probably answered, but I'm not sure if I've found a definitive answer. Are the only EVOX ecu's bricked due to the beta version ECUFlash 1.41? Or are there still bricking issues?

I've been using 1.43.3000 without any issues.

Can you program the ecu to not throw a cel when the cat has been removed? Sorry for the really simple question.

Yes. You need EcuFlash and a Tactrix cable. Check the DTC thread. (You may want to search within that thread, as it is a bit long)

I know it's not the RA section but I figured it might be better to ask it here.

In the process of installing a 3 ports on a friend RA 09, I noticed that my definition for 53600009 are missing the Reactive WGDC correction interval high and low gear. I'm also missing the WGDC Max total upward correction vs tps.

If someone got those table that would be greatly appreciated

The more power you want the more aftermarket accesories you need to put on as far as mechanical parts go. From my experience tuning WRXs (correct me if I'm wrong) you read your ROM with ecuflash and save that ROM to your computer, then you use your tuning software, whichever one you choose, to open that file and you make your adjustments. Then from the tuning software you save the new ROM and open that same ROM in ECUFlash to write to the ECU in your car.
