Great work and thanks again. I will be testing this patch by the end of the week.
It really isn't that difficult to tape the manifold. All you need is a 3/8" - 18 NPT tape and a 9/16" drill bit. Just take the TB off and stick a rag with grease right under the IAT spot that is already cast into the manifold (to the right of the MDP sensor). Use a small shop vac attachment and put that too under the area you will be drilling. This will catch all of the debris from the drill and will make for a much cleaner install and is the best spot for the IAT.
Thanks! The bung is going to mess up the nice looking Nisei UICP (rather not tap).

BTW, it would be great to have someone report back their results. It works fine in the simulator, but its good to have extra confirmation with a real world test.
I've had mine ported and I put in a thermal gasket already... don't feel like taking off the IM again.
Nisei used to make UICPs with AEM temp sensor bungs welded in place already, but I think it was 1/8" NPT.

Wow, finally we're through the cold-snap here. It was -20F or COLDER all last week, highs around -2F....TO COLD to even think about doing anything, the garage never warms up, even with a heater! It was a balmy 25F here today, so I *finally* got this done! mrfred, it works perfect! I made sure to copy all of the stuff over as instructed and went for a spin, everything seemed to work as expected.

Mr. Fred - quick question .... does this patch have anything to do with the fuel trim calculations? I only ask as a car I'm currently working on with your patch is not registering any trims (pinned at .1008). O2 feedback is in line (+1 to +3) and idle afr is good, just no trims???
