Not sure. I didn't do it through the periphery bit table. Here's the code I used:

table name="(periphery 0)" category="Misc" address="faa" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Hex16"/>

Hope that gives you what you're looking for.

Out of curiosity, why are you asking?

Trying to figure out where people are getting the idea to use periphery 0 to disable the rear O2 sensor tests. Seems that someone posted an incorrect definition. I'd like to find it and make sure the people know its incorrect.

I got it from this forum. Not to argue, but it worked fine for me, at least it cleared the cel. I've used the same bit to disable my immobilizer for my remote start also.

It works, but with unwanted side effects. There are other ways to disable the rear O2 CELs without unwanted side effects.

What are the side effects? How can you disable it without them (I don't have a sensor installed)?

Mr Fred, periphery "0" bit "4" labeled "immobilizer enabled" setting it to "0" disables the oxygen feedback trim and the LTFT low.

Thanks biggie5252

Umm not to sound rude but apparetly the "ill side effects" are yours = no fuel trims.

The rest of us can disable the rear O2 with tephra's 5.1 and still log trims, so mrfred is right, there is bogus info out there somewhere.

Can't help but think it's a little funny when people question Mr. Fred

Last time I checked he was a pioneer in the Blobbits and periphery .

Sorry just had to butt in and offer my two sense

dunno, i use tephra's 5.1 to turn it off, but the guy above even says that his bit is labeled "Immobilizer Engaged", so why you would try to use that to disable the rear O2 makes no sense to me.

i have tephra's mod but dont use that to disable it cause i am using 88580014 on a JDM (JDMs have no rear 02).

all i did was fix FEA bit.15 to 1 and it worked.

I was wondering if there were other side effects besides the lack of trims. No, I don't think you sounded rude.

I did it before I upgraded to 5.1. I have it now, though, and it works great.

I wanna say I got it from the how to disable rear o2 without a cel thread, but I'm not sure. It was well over a year ago, I just never noticed it until I got my injectors.
