So has there been a patch that will completely remove the sensor for the 8 96940011 rom at all?

so to totally remove the rear o2 sensor without the cel and will pass emissions here is what i need to do:
1. disable the cel using this https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...heres-how.html
2. do post 59 instructions.
3. lastly do the instructions on post 117.

is this correct? or did i miss anything out? thanks!

for 96940011 all we need now is a heater patch. i have found this https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...sim-patch.html
and now we have the obd 2 stuff from post 153 of this thread. so all we need is the heater patch like the one on post 59 of this thread and we will be able to completely remove rear o2 without cel and pass obd 2 checks

I did this but I have a question. On #2 I downloaded the zip file and there are 2 files. I added the xml file to my rom but what do I do with the hex file? I thought I had to open my rom in ecuflash and then add the values from the hex file there, but I can't make any sense of the hex file.

Any help appreciated! I have 88590015.

The hex file is just another ROM. Open it with ecuflash as you did with your rom, then copy the values from that rom in the XML section that you added (the "Rear O2 Heater Patch ROM Addr" section) to your rom, just like the post says.
