Does this patch work on roms previous to 5.10? I'm running one with valet but not with map switching. I would like to completely remove the rear O2.

Mr.Fred / Tephra, have either of you had a chance to look into the heater circuit patch for 94170015?

This thread has made my head spin. Is Acamus' code from #117 insufficient for the 88590015 ROM?

For removing CEL it is insufficient, apply mrfred's patch also.

If I'm not mistaken, follow MrFred in post 59:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/6691277-post59.html

And then follow Acamus in post 117:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/6727392-post117.html

I haven't attempted this yet and not even sure what order it needs to be done in. If someone else can confirm, it'd be appreciated. Inspection is up in 2 days. (I should just put my O2 back in.)

does anyone have a patched 96530006 ROM?

Okay.... do we have to use the rom posted or does this work with existing roms?

The reason I ask is somewhere in this thread someone stated it will work with 5.10.

No - just copy the definitions into the ecuflash xml, then open your rom and copy the values from mrfreds rom to your rom with the new tables.

Dangit... that's what I did and I still flag a CEL after I remove the O2.

The only change is I copied the values from #117.

I modded the XML with the junk in 117 then modified the values with what is shown in 117.

Do I really need anything that Mrfred posted?
