Kracka and I tried this on his car today; it works! He's spending QT with is girl right now but just wanted to relay the message: he had a big smile on his face when we ran the car w/ the old resistor crap unplugged

Glad there's no CEL. When you get a chance, can you check the readiness status of all the OBD-II tests? Just want to be sure that everything has completed.

For those using a antifouler does this patch mean that they can remove the rear o2 sensor completely and put a plug on the pipe where the old antifouler and o2 sensor used to be?

Unless I'm mistaken, This patch by itself will not allow that because it only simulates the heater circuit, however in tephra's V5.10, there is an O2 sensor that simulates the signal, so together they will allow you to unplug.

That's correct. I also have a standalone patch to simulate the rear O2 sensor signal for the 88590015, or a tephra ROM can be used. tephra mentioned somewhere that he is holding out on releasing v6 for this patch.

I believe my IX has that rom. So could I use both patches to completely eliminate the rear o2? Maybe I not understanding this patch but why would you need just the heater? My antifouler works just fine.Excuse me for my lack of understanding.

How do I do this in EvoScan? Let me know and I'll head down to the garage now.

Apply this patch along with my wideband AFR logging patch.

except not using the hardware (resistor mod) in conjunction with the newer patch posted in the first post and no rear o2 all togather with all readiness tests 100% a-okay.
