need Evo 9 owner to test rear O2 *heater* sim patch
I have searched all over the place and not found this info, so here is my question.
Have we discovered a rear o2S(secondary) heater patch for 96530006? I see some people talking about, but no actual discovery.
All these patches and threads are making my head spin. There has got to be a better way of compiling all this info, so that people will stop asking the same questions over and over again....lol

Stock ecu tuning wiki (see my sig or the thread). I agree that there have been alot of redundant questions lately and the Wiki needs to be updated.

for P0421 - disable bit 1 in FCA additionally, you will get rid of P0125, at least in my case
for P0421 - disable bit 1 in FCA additionally, you will get rid of P0125, at least in my case

I have value in bit1 FCA= 1
I have P0125 code on for the cell
Curently I don`t have CAT but I still have the rear O2 sensor into the exhaust.
How you change your periphery values for your car in order to lose the cells but still not to harm something else.
In Europe we don`t have EGR test....so it is still necesary to disable those values into periphery?
I read some threads about disable or enable in periphery some specific functions into the ECU and some guys are using "0" as enable and "1" for disable. Is that right?
Thanks
[QUOTE=acamus;6727392]First apply the patches:
This will not work also for 88840017 no?
What I must ad as a value into those cells?
I pass all the steps but I need to enter the right values into the cells and maybe to update my xml definition.
Can U please tell me how?
Thanks Acamus

When I have been fighting P0125 it had nothing to do with coolant temp at all. The ECU is trying to say it cannot reach the closed loop due to missing/inadequate sensor signal, If you want to get rid of it really quickly set min temp for closed loop and you are done. There is also bit in periphery bits which does the same. search button(but this is working according to tags) or google full text search engine "closed loop site:evolutionm.net" will be your friend.
"OFF TOPIC"
Acamus why you sound so negative??
You know that you can just ignore the messages of this forum because you don`t need to sound so sarcastic.....
The reason for sending you this question was your Europeans location and I believed wrong that maybe you have a european version of Evo...and because I notice that you are very good in programming or staff like that and I see that you`ve been very active into this forum.
Do you think that I was not reading the posts in order to fix my problem???
Total number of posts in evolutionm is 6833459 and total number of members is 101714. Im not sure but I think less than 10% of the members are using EDM ROM`s. From those 10% I was thinking that you can help me......
I see that my question harm you somehow and I apologize for that.......
I get this P0125 code after I disable the Rear O2 routine in the ROM.
"ECU Periphery0" I change value from 56DA to 56D8 and in FCA bit 4 I change value to "0".
This modification is related to rear o2 but what`s the connection with the coolant temperature? If I use this method to disable the rear O2 could be that I close also something else instead?
After some time I get this cell on. The engine temp was 80°C so what's the correlation between coolant temperature and the closed loop?
Since I don`t have a JDM or USDM map.....definetly I don`t have in my ROM xml file a definition phrase about the Minimum Temp dor closed loop.
The factory setting for min temp closed for your EDM is 0°C and in US is 7-9°C.
I add in evo9base.xml "<table name="O2 sensor" category="Misc" address="faa" type="1D" level="1" scaling="Hex16"/>"
What value I must add in order to get rid of the cell?
Thanks 4 your answers mate,
Cheers

Asking someone for help is one thing, but asking them to do work for you is different. It may just be a communication barrier that you are seeing rather than a crass attitude... but it may be that same barrier that is responsible for any attitude you may get. It may be frustrating, but you will likely have to be more patient and understanding simply because of that communication barrier. The same onus should not be placed on those trying to help you.
You attract more bees with honey....
I apologize but this was not my intention.....
I understand perfectly what you say and you are right....but not in my case.....
Maybe I understand wrong Acamus answer.........it was late.......
If you think that I offended anyone .... please accept my apologize
I have thought that a simple question can not harm someone ....since I did`nt knock anyone at the door....to bother him
And again....if I offended anyone.....realy..... I apologize to all of you.....
No hard feelings

as I have said b4 - if you throw P0125 when you do the rear02 disable using periphey bits then you CAN NOT use that method.
this was one of the reasons why the rear02 simulator came about (from mrfred, available in my patches)

I just change the set-up in periphery for O2
I must wait for the cell to be on again now.....
