Geez, if the motor is damaged as well, there is not much you can save from the wreck! Did you bend the seat too?

Jesus David. Glad to see you are alright.

As stated earlier, the vehicle can be replaced. You, sir, cannot.

I will also donate funds to your cause, as I have used a patched ROM of yours for as long as I have had my car.

Best regards.

Glad to hear your okay. I cant imagine what that was like.

Donations will surely be coming your way, as well as others. Once SD gets ported over to 96530006, Im all over it.

The cheapest way out is the pick up an Evo 7 GT-A. Then you go to work on V6 for it ;-)

Did anyone get video of the incident?

Whoa, I didn't realize what this thread was!

So sorry to hear man. I'm glad you took this as an opportunity to contribute and remind others to take it easy and build their comfort level! It is amazing how much energy you are carrying, and a few close calls shouldn't be justification for over driving. It hurts the pride and the wallet! This is also a reminder to others that it isn't a horrible idea to purchase track insurance if you plan on pushing the limits.

Just to reiterate everyone else's comments... I'm very happy to hear that you are physically OK. I seriously appreciate your contributions to the community and hope you can be back in the driver's seat sometime soon. That is one hell of a wreck for 60mph!

I'd think its best to look at a shell for the motor rather than trying to repair that car, but it sounds like the motor isn't in too great of shape either. Lucky for you evo prices have come down pretty significantly (at least in the US) and it would be great to have you back on 88590015 (for me at least! )

thanks dude.

on the topic of the motor.

IF the valves have hit the pistons what is the worst case for damage?

I am right in saying just replace pistons and valves? or would the head require work?

Glad you are ok Tephra

Oh, on awd never hit the brakes, counter steer + light to mid throttle you will recover 9/10 of the times. (Even in the dirt!) Please let us know if there is anything in addition to the donations we can help you with!!
