if gear is working correctly for you then u probably dont need the rpm/speed ratio... its mainly meant for ppl with different sized rims or gearboxes..

 

I do have 18's... Dont I need to log this to get the "rpm/speed to gear" map on point? Im feelin a lil iffy on trying the beta version, especially now that I have eveything else working right now. I know theres some process to get it running. I'll have to read that thread. Maybe I'll be feeling spunky tomorrow...

 

u can run both evoscan versions at the same time - 2.6b6 is just an exe copy - so save your current evoscan.exe (so u can run the old version)

 

Is anybody having problems when cold starting their car? I though it was a problem with my car but I flashed back to my v5.10 rom and the car is fine. I redid another v6 rom thinking I may have had a corrupted rom and it still won't idle when cold. I'm not again back to v5.10 and all is fine. The problem is the car goes lean (17-18afr) and then the idle stumbles and the car stalls.

Didn't happen to flip which maps were pump/E85 did you? I did that the first time I flashed to v6 and forgot to flip my switch. It was a Dur moment.

It runs fine when warmed up. Like all of a sudden at about 150deg F coolant temps or theirabouts it idles and drives fine.

 

V6 includes alternate IPW on startup - which is based on coolant temp...

so it could be something todo with that... did u copy that table properly?
