Thanks Dave. Will do. Im thinking I had 0x8447 @ 40, before I had copied my MUT table over (when I left your MUT table) and had the cell come up, and I flashed back, right away. And never changed 40 back to 0x8447...

Any ideas why rpm/speed to gear isnt logging? I believe the values in 42, 43 were already there... 6A9B, 6A9F (not infront of my comp.) I need to go over my/your MUT table, but I think these were the same as mine... will check it out Are these the correct values for 42, 43 ( 6A9B, 6A9F )?

Thanks again Dave, not only is this the ish, but you have been a big help as well!

Edit: Im a mess! I think my issue was, I had 0x8417, not 0x8447...

just look at the MUT ID's evoscan uses (for gear+whatever) and make sure those MUT's contain the information i programmed in originally.

Hello Tephra

just one question: the MUT request to log the alternative Map switch is still the 83? Was it included in your MUT Table?

I'm done with testing on normal maps: everything is fine (after ~2000km). Now I'll be running on alternate maps to check that everything is fine as well.

thanks

stock MUT83 should still work...

MUT83 is just the voltage going into the ADC...

There were another MUT that was either 255 or 0

Which one is it?

Im getting there... :updown:

OK Today I went through all the gears, and I now have Gear working properly, MAT was logging 32 throughout all gears (entire pull). Is this reading correctly? The reason I ask, is, that my rpm speed ratio is reading
1st = .385
2nd = .275
3rd = .192
4th = .137
5th = .11 I dont think this reading correctly? I dont see any decimal points in the rpm/speed to gear table.

TIA

If you don't have a MAT sensor wired in then you will not see any data related to that particular item.

Looks like something is wrong with your MUT still. Download the rom from the first link and copy the MUT values from MUT 42 and 43. It is working for everyone else, so if you use those MUT values and the evoscan formula from post 1 there is no way that it can go wrong.

I can't remember if these are correct (and don't know if the activation one still works)
MUT00 with 8425 and MU01 with 8929.

Code:
<DataListItem DataLog="N" Color="" Display="ALT MAP Activation" LogReference="AltMapActive" RequestID="00" Eval="x" Unit="unit" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="0" GaugeMax="20" ChartMin="0" ChartMax="20" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="Alt Map Activation. 0= Standard Maps 3= Alt Maps" Priority="1" Visible="False" />

<DataListItem DataLog="N" Color="" Display="ALT Map Input Voltage" LogReference="AltMapVoltage" RequestID="01" Eval="(x/256)*5" Unit="Vdc" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="0" GaugeMax="15" ChartMin="0" ChartMax="15" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="" Priority="1" Visible="False" />

so I have gear, and 1byte working correctly.
40 = 8447 / 41 = 840B / 42 = 8448 / 43 = 8449 and 44 = 8443
MAT, I need a sensor... oops.
And rpm speed ratio isnt logging correctly...

can you post up the formula for "rpm speed ratio" so I can compare it w/ mine later?

It is in the first post, along with the ROM to compare to.

I have copy / pasted the entire def. and made no changes to it... So it should be the same... And I have double/triple checked my MUT table now....

Do you need to have gm/s se t up in the MUT table, and could this have something to do w/ rpm speed ratio not logging?
I have left 00, 01, 02, 03, 04,05 in my MUT table as the 2bytes, but changed 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, to what is in Tephras rom, and made sure the request id's in evoscan match up...

Nothing like feeling like a newb on a daily basis... I guess thats cause I am 1...

MUT83 is the voltage on the ADC input into the ECU. So if you supply 4v, MUT83 will read 204ish...

Phil - What is the MUT request ID that RPM/SPEED ratio is using?
