94170015 error found

Below is a screenshot of what I found. It appears that the "Base Low Engine Temp Trim is actually the timing pulled for Anti-Lag.

Is the table just labeled incorrectly???

Right click, save as....to veiw with picture larger.

I have it as a timing table for engine coolant temperature correction.

It's what I've been using it to smooth out my cold running issues and it works like a champ.

EDIT:
Actually, what are the addresses for that table? It looks a little different then the table I'm thinking of.

These are the two above.....

<table name="Base Low Engine Temp Trim" address="3ff5">
<table name="Engine Load" address="66f4"/>
<table name="Engine Speed" address="66c2"/>
</table>

<table name="Boost Enhancement Enrich/Enlean (Anti-lag) Map" address="3ff5" level="2">
<table name="Load" address="66f4"/>
<table name="RPM" address="66c2"/>

Base Engine Temp Trim should be the timing adjustment for Boost Enhancement/Anti-lag ? ?

Then I have these two also.....

<table name="Boost Enhancement Adv/Ret Map 1 (Anti-lag)" address="3ce5" level="2">
<table name="Load" address="66f4"/>
<table name="RPM" address="66c2"/>
</table>

<table name="Boost Enhancement Adv/Ret Map 2 (Anti-lag)" address="3e6d" level="2">
<table name="Load" address="66f4" scaling="Load"/>
<table name="RPM" address="66c2" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

Based on where the adjustments are being made, I believe that the second set of two should be the cold/warm-up maps. Not Boost Enhancement/Anti-lag maps.

Look at the addresses, as they are all the same.

The only difference between the two tables is scaling and name.

From what was covered in other threads the table is used during the warmup period. There is also a scaling table that is used to activate this table.

ECT Advance/Retard Scalar address=41dc scaling=percent128
engine temp address=681a scaling=temp elements=8

These maps are EGR related ignition advance trims. One is for low octane (3ce5) and the other is high octane (3e6d).

You need to be very careful adding maps from threads to make sure you aren't duplicating tables that are mislabeled.

Would you please send me your 95170015 so that I can have the correct rom?

I knew I was having issues with multiple maps looking the same. It is frustrating.

I can however I have relabeled a ton of things to more of what I see fitting, so it will probably just throw you off even more. I’ve spent a lot of time on here looking through tons of threads to get as many maps as possible and then have gone through and eliminated repeaters and tried to notate which maps are questionable.

I have also changed my evo7base file drastically from what comes packaged with ecuflash and my new one will only work with this one ROM. This actually caused me a lot of grief this weekend trying to help another guy out.

I understand fully. I have changed my stuff a lot too. Trying to make sense of all of the lines can be cumbersome. I guess a couple errors here and there is to be expected. The good thing is that my car runs like a champ. EvoScan just reads a little wierd I guess.

How should this be added???

ECT Advance/Retard Scalar address=41dc scaling=percent128
engine temp address=681a scaling=temp elements=8

To which of these???

<table name="Base Low Engine Temp Trim" address="3ff5">
<table name="Engine Load" address="66f4"/>
<table name="Engine Speed" address="66c2"/>
</table>

<table name="Boost Enhancement Enrich/Enlean (Anti-lag) Map" address="3ff5" level="2">
<table name="Load" address="66f4"/>
<table name="RPM" address="66c2"/>

Then which one should I delete?
