I'm using a 1.3U cable that I purchased from you back in April 2008. If you take a quick look at the beginning of this thread, most of us were trying this with a OP1.3 cable with no success. Have you confirmed that anybody with an Evo 8/9 has been able to successfully interface with the ACD/AYC using an OP1.3 cable?

I'm happy to see this thread getting more interest! Maybe this will lead to a solution in an upcoming release of Evoscan which I think we can all agree is an awesome piece of software.

I think it only works on USDM and JAPAN import Evos. we don't have any EU evos in my country for me to test on. if someoneone would like to beta test it, they can msn messenger me.

 

did this get resolved? mine (evo 8) connects to the ayc ecu but just logs ff and the actuators time out

 

I too would be interested to know if there have been any further developments.

 

My Evo 9 GT (New Zealand new) won't activate actuators or log sensible values.

I have an Evo IX (EDM) and both 1.3 and 2.0 cables. What should I do to 1.3 version to make it log / flash ACD unit? Is there any quick & dirly FAQ? Thanks!

I would really like to know why the ACD connection won't work for me.

I have a JDM Evo 7. I cannot activate the ACD bleed function (can't even connect to the ACD).

The main reason for me purchasing EvoScan and the 2 cables was for the ACD logging and bleed.

Hamish, have you had any time to investigate this issue with the 7's not activating ACD actuators etc?

I know of at least 5 Evo 7 owners who have the same problem

 

You can get a tool to bleed the pump without using any software and you will also be able to check the pressure output with the kit.
