Thank you Golden! Appreciate it. I'm hoping for a new Evoscan release soon. Been some time since the last official one.

Question ZT-2 WB install with serial cable

Hello all,

I wanted to install my wb to my RA but was not interested in logging thru the ecu. I'm thinking it is going to be harder to wire it to the ecu.
My question is once I replace the rear o2 sensor with the ZT-2 wb o2 sensor do I just run the wire to the Zeitronix unit or is there more to do. I have a laptop with a serial port currently. I was going to just wire the nb o2 sensor out of the way to make it easier to convert back to stock. I think I read somewhere that I need to turn off the current nb o2 sensor? Is this true, and if so how do I do this? I have ecuflash and evoscan currently. Sorry if the is a noob question. I did do a search for this as well. Please try not to flame. Thanks! Still learning........

Sorry for the noob questions but can someone tell me what AFR at WOT is considered lean? Also is it suppose to be steady? Mines during cruising on the freeway bounce around from 14.5-15.2ish. And dring WOT, its 11.5-12.5ish (cant confirm this till i break in my clutch, the shop told me this when they tested it after the clutch install).

If you don't know, then I wouldn't running any leaner than 11.5

so once the turbo has spooled upto about 15psi you should head down to 11.5 pretty quick...

Tephra, Im currently running a Gunzo 91oct map thats tweaked (I run 93oct fuel). Only mods i have are a drop in/turbo inlet. Would AFR in low 12's be ok or is it pushing it? Thanks for the help, i appreciate it!

if your above 15psi, you should be richer than 11.5:1 (ie a lower number than 11.5)

low 12's, is IMHO, too lean

yeah during cruise/idle the car will try and maintain stoich (14.7:1)

however this will vary from 13-16 depending on the exact conditions at the time...

but under load you should run 11.5 or even lower...

As someone else said, now my eyes are burning ... does anyone have the config file for 55580006? (2010 EVOX SE fwiw) No matter which "Select ECU" I choose in EvoScan v2.8.0005 there is something not working right. In most cases my usual indicator is that TPS is showing 88% though in at least one case (I think the 2010 USA RA) I get what appears to be the right answer. The address for that is 2380870D

Also fwiw using Golden's ecuflash xml, the rom inherits 55580005

PS yes it does appear though that I have mode23 logging running correctly.

55580006 is the exact same rom that 2010 MR's use.

The 2010 Evo X / RA setting is correct for logging. So far, all the 2010's (GSR, MR, SE, RA) log the same way and use the same table definitions.
(Note that there may be 1 or 2 "tables" that are not the exact same.)
