I still am randomly (as in can not steadily duplicate) and its ALWAYS 2800-3900 rpm and under 140 load.

 

i would love to get these cams but i fear the knock as well.

 

I got it mostly knock free on WOT pulls except for some random, but there was still part throttle, mid-range knock which kinda worried me (i just worry a lot).

I was planning on a few other mods (FMIC, injectors, e85...) but realized that probably isn't going to happen, so I decided to have it tuned again at AMS. I previously had it tuned there so a retune was cheap (and it comes with dyno #s). I just had it tuned 2 days ago, and haven't had time to log it since but I will hopefully get some logs when I have time in the next week or so. I did pull up the maps after the tune and Chris did play with the knock background noise multipliers.

After Chris tuned it, I asked him about knock counts I was getting before and he said that the part throttle knock readings were nothing to worry about and it's really common. The only time to really worry is at WOT (obviously).

The car ended up putting down ~355whp and 350tq at 25psi.

As for the cams, the solution was playing with the knock settings. I really didn't have the cajones to do it... lol
