03 evo 8 ecu in 00 eclipse help

ok i drive a 2000 mitsubishi eclipse i tried searching i got nothing. this is my problem

im running a dual ECU setup 2000 ecu stock that cannot be flashed and then an 2003 evo 8 ecu with the boomslang harness i just dont know why its not reading it i cant start the car with this ecu hooked up becuase the Immobilizer and really i dont want to pay 5-600 for AMS to take a look i liek that satisfaction fo being able to tune and work on ym car myself but this 1 is really stumping me if anyone knows what i can do please let me know.

im going to check all the wires again tommorow to make sure they are going to the right slots in the pinouts maybe 1 got crossed or what not.

the evo 8 ecu is MN132874 code i searched it and it says its and 03 correct me if im wrong. please i need help its the only thing holding me back and i want to drive my car at least once this summer and then bring the car to MOD and by the looks of this if i dont get it running i wont be going. so anyone at all know anything post it up thanks brandon

anyone have any idea im checking the wiring today so if that works ill post it up if not i would really like some advice and i have searched and searched i cant find anything that has straight to do with this interface error on it i saw what other people have tried it doesnt work either.

What version of the cable are you using? Did you make sure to install the cable AND the bootloader? I believe it does it automatically but cable issues typically are driver related. Other than that the read write connector or whatever the wire swap you need to do with a 3G (I can tell you on a 2G its like 4 wires) might be off. You definitely have an 03 ECU, but it doesnt matter since the protocol is the same for 03-05s.

Looking at the log of ECuFlash, I see you are using some USB-Serial cable.
It migth be a silly question but does your cable support 15625 baud?
Or is it with OpenPort with wrong firmware

yes i had the cable plugged in when i installed it either way it gets installed either plugged in during and or after install

im gonna be calling up the company tommorow because i shouldnt have to deal with that but i want to look at it myself so im going through the wires now its just hard i dont want to pull anyout and not be able to get them back out.
