I tried using that one. It seems I have too many names changed to allow it to work good.

Thanks to Tephra, I have a 99% solution. Just have to fix the table posted above.

 

 

When I put in the 67d4 in for the MAF Hz the values are all screwed up in the table. By putting in 67a0 I see the correct MAF Hz values.

With the 67d4, I can attempt to over write the values in the table, but doing so creates an even worse situation.

Could the issue lie in another xml that is linked to the 30006 ? ?

 

Check the scaling for AirfowHz in the base and 0006 XML files. Make sure the endian is correct and that the scaling is correct (the 10.24 scaling).

 

OK got it fixed. I had to set the xml exactly the same in the 0006 and _mod xmls. Then I had to set in the correct values because of changing them on other attempts to "fix" it.

Now for a test run. Oh boy ! !

 

Bumping old thread sorry. I have converted multiple cars to the 96530006 ROM and had minor issues with the ISCV table easily fixed, now when I try to convert my own car 2003 evo 8 running on 94170015, the car starts fine, idles fine, runs well enough without a tune, however when ever I lift the throttle it dies, everytime, I restart and everything fine??? I have adjusted the ISCV table to no avail on my own car, I'm using the base tephra 7.xml, so I guess it isn't exactly 9653006, however I have flashed the stock ROM image as well with the same issues.

Any ideas?

 

There is a crank signal difference between both roms. That is why it wont work in 03/04 evos

I have converted both 03's and 04's to this ROM, however for some reason my car doesn't want to play nice?
