Help : Evo7 EDM FQ300

My mate has just bought a UK Spec Evo7 FQ300 - number 213.

Using ECUFlash 1.42, I was able to download the rom off the car - and using ECU Unlocker - but it seems ECUFlash doesn't have a defenition for it.
And therefore I can't open it in ECUFlash.

I have tried to inherent the definitions from all the other Evo7's listed in ECUFlash but none of them seem to be working.

ROM attached. Click here.

thx in advance

Thx guys, works perfectly.

Has anyone managed to integrate any of Tephra's patches into an Evo7 ROM?

Glad to help
I'm using 90550001 with tephra's mods on an JDM EVO VII RS2, and it works like a charm!

Thx guys...

Since this is not my car, I am a bit hesitant to "upgrade" the existing ROM 9339000 to the 90550001ROM with Tephra patches.

Are the two ROM's 100% compatible and has anyone here done it before?

Yep, it works! As I wrote before, I'm using 90550001 with tephra mods on an EVO 7 RS2 for a year or so and the only difference is the benefits of the new rom mods. Couldn't get the ALS to work, because I'm missing the secondary fuel pump, but that's all. Everything else works fine in my opinion.

By the way- 10x Tephra!

When I switched Roms on my VII I had a Check Engine Light, but there is a fix for that as well. If you have a problem, let me know and I will find it for you, I can't remember off the top of my head.

The FQ range were modified in the UK by the importers. The base car is still a JDM model. Just give it a try, you can always flash back.
