I recently moved to the middle east and i have been tuning cars for a while, and not much stock ecu's. so now i have an evo 7 and 9 that i am try to get into and its just not working

i get codes like 00001 000002 ffffffffff

and dont have no firewall

i fo14.1 software and still no luck with openport 2.0

i have the vin number of the vehicle i am working on if it can help in anyway

try this open the unlocker leave it running then use ecuflash

one of my other friends have version 1.3xxxxxxx and it worked and get into the ECU, but when we tried to view the maps none could be selected. all was hidden.

 

your cable problem then maybe , does he have the proper definition for that rom

it feels like i am running in circles with this EcuFlash software.

I recently was sent a ecuflash v1.34

and having installed OP2.0

i run the software and it does not allow me to click on READ ECU

on the same window of ecuflash bottom right corner it says openport 2.0 com 11

I recall when i use standalones the com was a problem i dont know if this is a factor or not just throwing it out there.

 

dont think op2 works with v1.34 not sure

 

a) I'm not sure OP20 will work with EcuFlash 1.34
b) I'm not sure the ECU Unlocker will work with the OP2.0

get your friend to read the ecu for you, then change the init code back to 0x0001

Then your OP20 with EcuFlash 1.42 will work
