I have been using 1.4X to make changes to my roms then using 1.30 to flash the ecu. Seems to work. A bit of a PITA but free.

Acording to this Download EcuFlash 1.42 Here (Windows XP/Vista x86/x64) - includes all needed Openport 1.3/2.0 drivers

It says it includes 1.3/2.0 drivers but my 1.3 cable wont connect

I have an old cable that I have the same issue, my cable is 1.3U, I read some where that the problem is a serial number issue. Mine works with al versions up to 1.38 with the cable hack.

I have the openport 1.3M tactrix cable and I recently did a log, sent it to my tuner and he replied with a map. Now I cannot flash my new map onto the car because the car "cannot connect to vehicle interface" ....what the hell do i do now?

Which version of ECUFlash is compatible with 1.3M, I've tried 1.29a no luck, 1.34 no luck, and now I have been trying 1.42 with no luck as well.

Guys, I've got to bump this.

I am having the same connection issues now. I recently updated to version 1.42 with my 1.3m cable. I'm getting the unable to connect error. I did a full un-install and re-install of 1.42 and all the drivers for openport loaded fine. It recognizes the cable and it's serial number but won't connect. It will connect and datalog fine with evoscan 2.0 so I know it's not a driver or cable issue...right?

someone had mentioned that if you were to reinstall v1.29 then reintall 1.42 but do not instal the drivers for the cable from v1.42 it should wok. well at least it worked for them.
