new live map app
EDIT: This solution is confirmed for my situation.
Just for people that come later, to have all the info in one place.
Regarding this image;

EDIT: Here is the same table with the corrections.

there u go.... the vectors are all wrong. the 0003xxxx need to be changed to ram variables
eg ALT INJ SCALING, its 00037b40... should be FFFFA040 (need to type 0xFFFF 0xA040.
not sure why that rom would be like that... very strange. anyway needs to be changed for all the tables from ALT INJ to ALT Cranking IPW main.

Yep, nice catch...I was so busy earlier I didn't even notice. That's why I put the RAM addresses in the def. I think that may be phenem's def above (not sure if I made it like that or not)...in my original defs I put (change to RAM) as a reminder.
I think the error or confusion stemmed from the fact that the map vectors changed from V7 toV7-bigmap and there were so many versions of V7 (v7t5, v7t6, v7final, v7final-bigmap). I think tephra rearranged them so all alt/ram maps are grouped and all main ROM maps are grouped. Originally V7 (non bigmap versions) had the map vectors in a different order where the rom map then alt/ram map was listed.
So, when the new downloads were posted up for V7-bigmap, V7-bigmap DMA, and V7-bigmap DMA+SD, I'm guessing the v7-bigmap+DMA was just patched based on the V7-bigmap and the vector changes were missed to move the maps to RAM. I even just checked my laptop and I had one without the vectors changed.
But good job on getting it figured out. Now you can enoy the live mapping.

that is ur choice... if u have already paid for a license what is there to loose... except wait till the final version is out

it will be intresting to see what speeds hamish's program mange out of DMA... i think if he does a good job it should be same if not better
Also, along the same lines, Hamish is working on a DMA based EvoScan?
No word on a 885 v7 +live map non sd?
mate never said i am not doing any further development
there is a lot of stuff planned and some implemented, but i am low on free time currently, hopefully will have some more stuff for you, like offline map tracer, faster refresh rate for live map tracer, vdr etc etc

guys the 8859 V7 based live map... sorry i cant help u on that. i did some work but my test on an ecu didnt work. so i gave up.
GotWheelHop: no problems
i still plan on developing the program more. but as many people prefer evoscan... and this being a very very niche field i doubt once evoscan comes along many people will want to use my program... hopefully i will have some features that are different enough from evoscan that people prefer.
hamish has downloaded a copy of my program.
