Son of a bi**h, I have the tactrix 2.0! Is there any future plans to make this work on the 2.0 instead of the 1.3?

 

gearhead... with 510 based rom i think the boost tables were in rom.. and require moving to ram first.... i think i could be wrong.

as on the last screen the next version is working but with bugs, but unfortunately i had been having issues with my car (this caused me to slack off with development work on livemap too) which i have eventually narrowed down to 9563 based V7 rom being incompatible with my ecu. this means i am no longer running DMA/livemap and hence further development has stopped as i cannot test it.

pray tephra can one day sort out my ecu..... when he is free.

I believe John put all the altmap tables in RAM, I just not sure how to locate the table headers...

 

gearhead send me a pm with ur email address i will have a look at the rom via email and reply back as i dont have 96530006 SD with dma rom to check the tables.

yeah lee 96260009 was the bastard child john worked on it and we found a few problems they were fixed...... by the time i found the final problem (frequent ecu resets) john had moved on. and it almost looks like i am the only one wanting DMA on 96260009.

seeing i am still getting ppl download the software i figure i might give a short update.

well i was fiddling with the car ecu code and got dma to work without crashing my ecu..... well it work for 30mins... havent done a longer drive yet.

anyway next tried to load up the program onto my shinny new laptop running win7 64bit.... and bad news the program does not log properly. except it runs fine on the trusty old netbook running XP. so i will try to fix it...

next i will look to put OP2 support for the ppl who have OP2 cable (depending on me being able to borrow the cable from a friend).

hopefully some good times to roll soon........ and lets have a 4th VDR program shall we

Nice job, Ziad. I've always loved ur LiveMap app. I think there are just a lot of people that don't use the DMA/Livemap mods and not many Roms are supported.

I've barely had any time over the past few months to do anything to my car, though. So, even I haven't been using it. I still think it's the one of the best ECU mods out there and your app is a great tool use with it. Thanks for the hard work.

 

Definitely glad to see you are revisiting this project Ziad! By far the best mod to speed up the tuning process! Live Tuning FTW.
