I've got the 1.3u cable, evoscan and ecuflash .. And I'm ready to test so if anyone is good with Assembly and can do what's needed for the 9417, let me know.

Is your immobilizer working?

If yes how did you do it?

I sat outside in the Evo from 3am to 4:30am trying to get the hex's right.
0040, my Immob lets say is 014D

So I'm putting 0x0040 in immob hex and 0x014D in immob. Car just cranks

Are you sure it's not something simple like valet option being enabled?

 

^^thats stumped me and a cpl of ppl i know a few times

 

I didn't enable the valet option btw.
it has a zero so it can't be the valet.

So I disabled the immobilizer for now so I can tune.

I figure worst case scenario .. just before I shut it off .. just re-enable the immobilizer and load the rom and voila.

But now onto live map.

yeah, I have 2.0.31 but it doesn't work very well.

I hit rom2ram and it says rom written but when I check my hex file from ecuflash, nothing is changed.

It doesnt write back to you hex file! It copies the tables from your rom (hex) to ram memory for tuning.

You need to tune in RAM, then copy the ram tables and paste them back to you hex in ecuflash

a ram2rom would be great. it'll keep knuckleheads like me from wondering why his changes aren't saving

It's December .. Is the new version supposed to be our Christmas gift for Dec 24th?

sorry mate didnt see ur message, anyway no there is no chance of 9417.. you have 9653 that you can put on ur car. sorry i only do the app currently no rom modifications. and yes u need a dma modified rom to do this.

saying that new app with auto tune is almost done, sending it to a cpl testing ppl soon. then more fixing before its available to download. i want to make sure it wont kill cars before i make it available for general consumption. hehe
