Ziad I'd be glad to be another one of your testers.. i love the program and i'm currently using it to fine tune my car..its a eclipse 3g with evo 8 turbo bolt ones. the car is making about 300 to the wheels on my butt dyno.. but im not sure.. still fine tuning it.

Ziad; I recieved your e-mail. I downloaded the old app to use on my IX with Stock ECU, Tephra 5.10 (would like to use v7), GM BCS, and Omni 4 Bar, but could not get it to work. I installed an alt-map switch in hopes of getting it to work but couldn't. I would test the new app if it would help but you may need to guide me step b step in setting it up. I read this thread but there is no definitive guide.

 

u need to have a livemap rom first.... and i am 99% sure there is no livemap rom for the usdm evo9.... only for the jdm9 (uk evo9). sorry

 

what? I have 88590015. That doesn't work? I used the ROM off your website, the one that says 88590015 v5.10.

hey ziad. so i got everything running but its not reading any load. im running the 96532706 v7 rom.

 

What Do you mean not reading load......in the map tracer or the logger on screen or on your file.

 

yea the map tracer. when i rev the car is stays in the 10% load column and just goes to the rpm range that i hit but it wont go past 10% load.. im running 2byte load, in evoscan every thing is ok.

 

if the thing is logged properly then its the name... currently it uses some pre-defined combinations for load and rpm etc variables. if u use something else (And yes i might have used the wrong one in the standard XML given by the program) the map tracer etc wont work.

easiest currently is to rename the request to load.... or add one of the pre-defined 1-byte loads, at mut 41 or 0..... its called load too

Any word on a 9417 build for this?

 

again i could be wrong..... but i dont think there is any modified rom for the 9417. the livemap stuff is the same as tephra mods. its a modified rom. someone has to do the modifications to the rom etc. seeing what happened with the USDM9 rom, where eric spent time to create one.... but no one has bothered testing it.... i doubt anyone will be willing to modify a 9417 rom.

saying that once a rom is modified, the livemap program can easily work with it.
