I want live map for the Tephra V7 SD IX so badly!

I agree eric this is the best mod... makes tuning so much quicker and easier (actually takes me lot longer to tune using this way cuz u keep tweaking). hopefully with the basic changes i am thinking of it will make logging DMA so much easier...... just gota resist the temptation of touching the VDR part as that is the most tricky part.

i honestly not sure why i was originally having issues with DMA on 96260009 the only thing i changed this time was the dead variable...

 

Which ROM...the 8859 ROM? Did I ever send it to you? I sent it to one person for testing and I don't think he ever did. I was 99% sure it would work, but wasn't postive.

I think that's the last thing I was uncertain about the 8859 ROM and needed testing. Although it's been so long now, I don't even know if I have it. I'm sure I save it somewhere.

 

check ur emails.... i usually find gems there... stuff i thought lost (esp JCB roms)

 

Yeah, I recently upgraded my computer and I didn't save my old emails.

But, I did just check and I have the work I did. At least I'm pretty sure it is what I last worked on. Of course if anyone wants it, they are more than welcome to it.

 

Ziad can you email me the 96260009 livemap rom sd and non sd and xml please are you still using livemap 2.0.0.31?

well after a long time finally found a fix for the grids on map tracing to update quickly... and as usual it was very small.... but very obscure.

next question i was thinking to populate the RAM mut table i do it automatically. so users can choose a drop down box with a mut discription.the program does the rest.... obviously letting the user still edit order of items being logged and formula. the question was should i get the memory address from a file on the drive there will be a file location in the program generally anyway or should i get it from the ecu as part of writing the mut table.

 

is the crashing fixed now ziad?

hey did u guys test to see if the e9 rom is working with DMA. as the new app is getting closer to final product.

phil has been testing one component of it (had to rewrite the interface to the cable and the actual gui was done to make it faster)

the app is getting close to beta stage (alpha testers already have had 2 weeks with the program) is anyone except us three using livemap

if u are then send me a pm as i want more ppl to test the next stage.

 

I would certainly give you some assistance on the testing but my current state of employment has me away from the evo for about a year. (gotta love being deployed).
