Confirming this. Adding the quotes back fixes the issue.

 

thanks Akeric, i will def look into that and fix it. i am thinking next version (when it eventually gets done) i will include xmls for the DMA roms for ecuflash to make it easier. regarding SD and mivec, i will talk to donner about it, how much space is available. if push comes to shove, i might look into

i am soo lazy and lack of time that today is the 2nd time i have played with maf scaling since i moved my tables to ram....but pretty cool. took about 15mins to get a base sorted. next need to work on the higher maf frequency levels while cruising and running around. but was quite painless, once i worked out why my idle was **** and afrs 18:1 on idle.... wrong injector latencies used....which was an easy fix as clicking a button

hey ziad I'm down to help, I should say I tried loading the dma ix map and the car wouldn't start after flashing it. I followed the instructions and initialized the ram, still no start, reflashed, initialized, still no start, flashed back to non-dma map, started right up. Let me know and I'll help however I can. When I hit the initialize I do not get the status message at the bottom saying ram successfully written. It was late when I tried it, I'll give it another shot tonight or tomorrow and let you know how it turns out.

 

ok so little update, I uninstalled vista from my laptop which was the OS I was running the last time I tried. Installed windows 7, new ecuflash and evoscan etc. reinstalled ELM and repatched rom and tried again. This time it worked, sadly not sure if it was OS or something else, but I can log and the trace works fine as well. If you have anything specific you want me to look at let me know. I can't really use it to tune because I am tuning my VE table (also should mention I'm using the ROM from 3d SD 2.0 8859) and so evoscan is easier right now.

 

not sure... i have ppl with vista before checking and no issues with them.

what do u mean evoscan is much easier now

if u have SD remember to check the SD box in table settings menu.it enables the map tracing on the sd table.

 

evoscan is easier than ELM for me to my VE table, just more familar with evoscan than ELM at this point and I am almost done with the VE table, once I get finished with cruise and wastegate boost I'll start messing with ELM more to get my boost dialed in.

Were you able to get the live map 88592715 map to run before your car went down? I wasnt able to get the car to run when alt maps were enabled; it would crank sputter and die. I am wondering if I missed something. I verified that the alt maps were working without DMA patched and I also made sure to initialize ram once I flashed the car...was there any setup in EcuFlash that I may have missed?

 

it could be that the initialise signal didnt go through correctly. once in a while i need to initialise a couple times before alt maps works for me. not often at all though, maybe once every 50 flashes.

Don't know, you have the the sd table defined? Also make sure the map is in kpa

Hi Ziad yes to both of those questions, the table looks correct when uploaded/downloaded to the rom,

not used Sharepoint most of the stuff I do uses svn
