question.. lookin for some opinions

Have a few questions or opionions in this case. I bought my car a year ago with everything it has on it now im kinda a noobie but learning much. It is an 03 evo. when i bought it i was running 22 psi with stock piping which it has now but was blowing hose clamps left and right and of course i had a boost leak. I slapped some tbolts on it and nothin is budging until i get hard piping. But i took it for a spin after i put the clamps on and im pullin 25psi...and im not fuel cutting at all..??? Do you think my ecu was flashed before i got it?

Sounds like your BC was set for higher boost but no one ever fixed the boost leaks.

I have T bolts on my intake and every month I have to go in and snug them again. The heat and pressure seems to loosen them. Think of it as regular maintenance.

I would say it was flashed. I think 18psi is stock boost level.

Flas would not mean anythin if an MBC was installed (when talking about boost). As for fuel cut and such....it is possible. I ran 22psi with no flash and an mbc and had no issues.

If your hitting 25 and no fuel cut its probably been messed with. Turn the boost down till you can verify safe AFR's and no knock.
