idle ?'s

I not to long ago switch my ROM from 96420008 to 94170015 and was wondering if the idle would change? When I come up to a stop light the car tries to die but then the idle will pick back up. Now starting yesterday night the car does die.

When I put the 0008 ROM back in the car is fine. I did also mess with the idle screw on the TB and it seemed to work for a bit, but like i said yesterday it started stalling now.

Sounds like the different software might give a different duty cycle to the IAC Valve or something. Strange . Take your IAC valve off and look at how much carbon is in it. Maybe clean it.

It sounds like you need to do more adjusting when you're switching in between ROMS. The 0015 ROM seems like its over-adjusting something, or isn't adjusting something enough.

You need to transport over the 0008 settings into the 0015 rom.

Any update on fixing your idle stumble issue?
I'm have the same idle issue recently after a tune using the 94170015 rom.

There is a ton of differences between the two. Take a look and go table by table....you will see a ton of differences.

As you continue to mod your car you will have more and more little issues with changing the rom. It just takes time to tune the tables and work out the bugs.

So can the previous rom ISCV tables be copy and paste to the new rom without affecting the overall tune/rom? Anyone try this and get good results?

I went through it all and all tables seem to be the same. I did the same and just copied and paste and still having problems.
