Service Engine Soon Light - No Code ??

My Service Engine Soon light just came on and yet ScanTech is telling me that no codes are being logged. Any idea on where to start looking ?

I cleared the code (no code) and started the car and light has stayed off.

Any ideas what would trigger the light, yet not leave a code (scantech v0.77) ? TIA

That seems very strange. Almost as if the car cleared it but he cel lingered on.

Scantech never worked for me. It never showed anything.

If you use evoscan >=v2.5 you should be able to see the code if it was not cleared.

Evoscan is not very good with dtc codes I use a separate obdII software from http://obddiagnostics.com/ works every time.

Are you talking about the newest versions??

The older/first versions had the DTC stuff there, but didnt work well. But since 2.5/2.6 the DTC stuff has worked well for me. i used it just the other night. Worked fine and faster then most scan tools I have used.
