Thanks for the log. Not sure about the knock count. I assumed that since there was so much interest in the launch maps, that a lot of people were routinely setting up this pseudo-antilag. If this isn't something you normally do, then don't continue on my behalf.
I'm bumping my retard limit (173e) to 255 w/ info from that other thread, but from what I read that doesn't affect anything? I'm going to log it and see what happens anyways, just to verify.
Also, saw that just stomping on the gas to hit this rev limiter will cause lots of knock, thus my mountains of it above, we'll see if that goes away too w/ proper technique

After looking over the timing limit subroutine a little more last night, I'm beginning to think that those tables are not so valuable. Ultimately, that limit of #203 needs to be increased to #231 to allow -20 deg. People are reporting momentarily reaching -20 deg and then tapering down to around -15 to -10 deg. There is something going on that's pulling r2 down from 231. It must be that bit of math and comparison that takes place after constraining r2 to the limit value.
BTW, you saw that the final RAM value at the end of the subroutine only serves to monitor timing via MUT and OBD? Its the second-to-last RAM value that appears to be the timing value used by the ECU.

then I have named it ADJUST_IGNITION_BY_KNOCK_SUM
and there is not much going on, I was speaking about the
sub 1B4AC where the tables are and FFFF6DBC which seems RPM based knock ignition trim with lookup at 1CC2C.
I upped 173e to 255 and saw a blip of -14°. I need to flatten out the launch fueling map as my afr is all over the place still. I'll try and get a better log sometime. Also have your variable still logged in there mrfred, stays 195 constant.
