Anyone wana help me out with my log?

Alright, so i just got the turbo back exhaust in with no cat, along with my tuning cables and software. I also have the O2 sensor unplugged right now. So i decided to take the car for a ride after everything was done, and when i went WOT it felt like i hit fuel cut in 3rd gear... So i tried it again.. And in 2nd gear i was watching the boost gauge and it was only at like 17 psi when it felt like i hit fuel cut again..

So decided to take the laptop out and do a log.. I got on the AC expressway and started to log the whole trip.. I hit my "fuel cut or w/e twice" to make sure it was recorded. I get off at the next exit and review the whole trips log. I notice a couple of knocks here and there...

I'm not an expert at looking this stuff over and i just wanted to know if any of you would help me out. the car is completely stock except the turbo back and BOV.

I attached the log. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Next time you post a log, you can cut out the 10,000 or so lines of partial throttle/idle

You really need to log engine load to see if your hitting fuel cut.

Like i said i am a noob to all this.. I'll remember that for next time. Can you tell me why i have the knocks? I'll do another log today with the engine load after school.

I just view it on a graph in evo scan instead of looking at the lines.

That is not a log, it is a document with a bunch of numbers in collumns. The brain is much more effective at analyzing graphic displays on a chart with individual axis's for each logged item. You can make your own with xyscatter in excel. Not sure if your logger version does this already yet, but last I recall everything's unproportionally on the same axis.

Yeah that was just some friendly advice... I didn't see much knock from what I remember, but there was alot of data. I typically only worry about knock when your are under load or in boost... Well unless you have consistent knock in other areas.

I do remember your IPW's being consistently high or possibly maxed out but there wasn't enough info available to make that clear.

Are you sure the car was not modded at some point (are you the original owner?) Did you check for boost leaks (there is a good thread somewhere here)

Good luck

did you adjust your boost limit and boost cut delay timer yet? if not you'll experience boost cut.

I am the second owner.. and the guy who owned it before me said that the ecu was never touched.. I did some 3rd gear pulls and i have them logged.. I can put them up if u want. Almost positive there are no boost leaks. I have the boost set at like 18 psi..

I'm not ready yet to make any major changes to the ecu.. Still doing my research on everything. lol

The forums are very knowledgeable

Yeah definitely infrormation overload at first!

Boost leaks are pretty common, I wouldn't count it out if you haven't tested it. That would cause it to run rich and possibly hit fuel cut.

I can take a look if you want to post them up
