Did you copy over the ISC and idle tables or left them be when you converted?

yup... never had luck with it. The problem was it was oddly intermittent but only only on 9653, stock rom never hiccuped.

So the Maf T was causing the issue.

Just have him ditch it and go full SD with 9653.

He isn't SD now! That is why I don't understand why it is even on the car. I am not sure if the MAF-t is causing the issue or not... we will find out this weekend

Yeah....yank that stuff out and do what you do best! !

Just for the hell of it......give both v7 roms a shot and post your findings. We need someone to give more insight into 05s and which version rom runs well in them. We've see both good and bad, but no conclusive tests.

Will try, my buddy is pretty stubourn so he may not even wanna take the MAF-t out if he does not wanna take it out he will be taking it to someone else. He has been messing with the settings on the MAF-t himself also, so who knows what is going on...

Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Have him read this thread....and TAKE THAT CRAP OUT ! !

He really does not need it. I would imagine he did it so he could run the Tial BOV. But on stock nearly everything else....that is a complete waste of $$$ and kills drivability. Tell him to get a good recirc style valve and start modding his car intelligently.

The point being, as you know, some parts work with our cars, and some simply do not.

Correct, however he just purchased this car as he wrecked his old VIII. I can lead a horse to water but I can't make him drink...
