Excellent. Thank you for your extraordinarily helpful response. I have been MS certified for years and our company is MS Gold certified. I think that you're right, switching to a Mac will instantly fix every single computer problem of mine.

 

I had opened a support ticket with Hamish. He sent me EvoScan v2.7.0031 beta.
I uninstalled Evoscan 2.6 with the windows installer, installed the beta, and all is good again!
