lc 1 problems

hi guys

I have just installed my new LC1 for permanent AFR monitoring via ecu

I have preformed calibration and free air etc, the light is on solid now so I assume its good to go

How ever i am unable to connect via serial to the LC1, do i need a terminator plug for serial in? I didnt get 1 in the kit!

I have the DB9 serial cable going into serial out and car switched on

Cheers
Phil

DO NOT CONNECT EITHER SERIAL (IN OR OUT) with the LC1 POWERED!!!

Thanks, yeah I have read alot of people do this with the serial cable when its powered!!

I dont know why I didnt get the Terminator plug with the guage and lc1 kit? I will go to Dick smiths tomorrow and get a 2.5mm stereo plug and short the tip and centre together. I have read that this is all the terminator plug does
