yep i did. also make sure you log stuff in the following format for me.

TPS
RPM
TIMING
KNOCK
LOAD
AFR
IDC

Are you positive the signal you're logging is wideband? because I can tweak the a/f but I need to know its positively a wideband reading and not a guestimated narrowband reading.

No its not a wideband i'm logging at all, I just have a portable wideband up the tail pipe atm, not in the ECU at all, thats why I was confused with the readings in the logs, assuming they were a calculated estimate from the NB02.

I'm running stock dump/front atm. I'll order a 3inch front pipe in a week or 2 and get a LC-1 at the same time installed and logging.

alright. well if you can tell me what the sniffer is reading at LOW RPM/ SPOOOL/ MID/HIGH i can tweak your fuel map as well.. fuel map is a piece of cake to do.

At the tail pipe with a knocked out stock cat:

Idle: 17.1-17.3 stable
Cruise: mid-high 14's, to low 15's at times.
Spool is low 13's down to 12.6-12.5 by top of 3k, and tapering down to 12.1 by 6k.

Its a little lean at the rear, but probably not as bad up front.

thats not all that bad really. 12.1 on a sniffer is around 11.6-11.7 a/f | spool low 13's is probably right on the money .. we will leave the a/f alone unless you want me to richen it more to around 11.9 uptop.

Ok we're in the ball park now!
Perfectly clean pulls, car feels just as strong, no knock and still feels nice and crisp in the mid range!

I was going to split the log attached, the first worksheet has the 3rd gear pull from low 2k, the second worksheet has the whole logging session which was a few squirts here and there, and cruising on the freeway, but wouldn't stay under 100k.

Can't wait to get my wideband installed permamently now to sort the rest out!

Thanks again!

looks good. include the raw log as well so i can throw it into virtual dyno and we can get some HP tuning out of the car. if you have to, email it to me. from what I can see, the car wants more timing already. we can either turn the boost up or fine tune the timing for max power at the current boost level.

Probably fine tune the timing for current level would be the way to go atm I think.

I haven't had a chance to do a boost leak test yet as i'm expecting to have to replace t/b seals, etc. Want to have all that sorted before winding anymore into it.
I'll get a JDM 3-bar sensor too, as I think even though my 7 is JDM it only has a 1bar sensor, i'll look into that too.

Oh btw it was hitting 20psi solid and tapering to 18 by revcut last run.

Emailed the raw data.

Did you guys have the knock load tables defined? I'd like to see what that looks like as well. Also, was anything discovered when removing the 61? I think the community should know this.

The only tables I changed were

The main fuel and timing maps and the knock multipliers.

Heres the additional stuff you want to add to the XML to display the knock settings.

<table name="Knock Load Table 1" category="Knock Control" address="407e" type="2D" level="2" scaling="Load8">
<table name="X" address="4d76" type="X Axis" elements="10" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

<table name="Knock Load Table 2" category="Knock Control" address="408e" type="2D" level="2" scaling="Load8">
<table name="Engine Speed" address="4d76" type="X Axis" elements="10" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

<table name="Knock Load Table 3" category="Knock Control" address="40b0" type="2D" level="2" scaling="Load8">
<table name="Engine Speed" address="4d76" type="X Axis" elements="10" scaling="RPM"/>
</table>

<table name="Knock Multiplier - Low RPM" category="Knock Control" address="177a" type="1D" level="1" scaling="uint16"/>

<table name="Knock Multiplier - Mid RPM" category="Knock Control" address="24aa" type="1D" level="1" scaling="uint16"/>

<table name="Knock Multiplier - High RPM" category="Knock Control" address="21de" type="1D" level="1" scaling="uint16"/>

<table name="Knock Adder - Single Gain" category="Knock Control" address="1780" type="1D" level="1" scaling="uint16"/>

<table name="Knock Adder - Triple Gain" category="Knock Control" address="177c" type="1D" level="1" scaling="uint16"/>
