I have a E7 GTA ROM but no definitions. Whats the ROM ID on that car?

-knock multiplier ( low mid and high)

whats intresting is that the rom you have the knock low is the same as the evo 8 and the mid is realy realy high, and the high is 2 less i dont why mid is so high on the evo 7? maybe some one can answer that.

and i dont think 5-6* is too much for the boost your running..8* i dont know about that now..

LOL! Yeah my eyes are killing me, but my enthusiasm and drive to diagnose are pushing me to stay awake. BTW: This one doesnt have an xml.

Hmmm...I can't see this knock control stuff on my XML i've been editing it with.
The rom and XML is the one I downloaded off geekmapped.com to get me up adn running semi safely.

Should I just start again with a fresh Evo 8 Rom and V7?

 

I dont think the 965300016 works on the E7's. The only other one I saw that should work is the 99860002. Again, another one I don't have an xml or ROM for.

Yours must be referencing another XML dude, a more complete one.
I just deleted all XML's related to 90550001 and downloaded mine from the link on page 2 and still can't see the stuff you do.

 

When you decide you need an original Evo7 JDM rom (98640014) let me know, to post it.
IMHO, If you are tuning yourself better start with a conservative and safe tune and work from there. With all the knowledge and help from the people here, it's a successful end, for you and the car.

Do I get any benefit of an Evo 8 map on there to start with, like 96530706?

Or best to start with 98640014, thats what was originally on the car that I pulled.

 

you don't need to mess with knock sum multipliers to get to a nice safe tune.
that comes after for fine tuning and extracting the finer detail
