hey guys, I have a local customer with a 2010 EVOX MR SST Automatic transmission. I appears that Evoscan 2.7 isn't quite ready for the MR. When I convert the ROM over to Mode23 to log additional items it screws up the RPM, knock etc.. with incorrect data and doesn't some log other items at all.

I suspect a new EVO X MR xml needs to be added to the evoscan DataSettings folder but I've not found any information about it.

I went ahead and tuned it without Mode23 but I'd like to be better prepared for the next one.

 

All the 2010's use the same evoscan requests FYI.

well the interesting thing is that I'm not having problems with other 2010 models, only this MR. I've done a search but apparently I'm not using the correct keywords. Any tips?

 

Is it a normal MR? MR-T? What rom ID?

What request are you using for say, knocksum?

Knocksum works fine until you do the Mode23 conversion, then it shows 50-80 knock counts.

EVO X USA Knocksum request is CAN11-1
EVO X USA MODE23 Knocksum request is 23808A4B

2008 and 2010 requests are different. Again, you need to use the 2010 requests in Evoscan when logging a 2010 Evo

The request you have above is for 2008.
