car surging when coming to a stop

Hey guys can this surging be from the BOV crushed too much or is it from tuning? I also have an issue of the car going pig rich and almost cutting out when coming to an abrupt stop. This has become more noticeable from when installed the TBE

What do you have your idle RPM set to in your ROM and what is your timing set to at idle?

My timing is set at 9 degrees and I raised the idle in 3 of the tables.

1) Desired Idle RPM with AC on : Neut : 852
Drive: 883
Neut : 852
Drive : 883

2) Desired RPM Drive : -32 = 1398
-8 = 1398
5 = 1398
20 = 1398
30 = 1297
33 = 1203
50 = 898
82 = 898

3) Desired IDLE RPM : -32 = 1000
-8 = 1000
5 = 1000
20 = 1000
30 = 898
33 = 797
50 = 797
82 = 797

surging as in rpm's going up and down? that ussually indicates maybe a vac leak or a faulty sensor iac/tps, etc.. did you do a boost leak test after crushing the bov diaphram? i doubt it has anything to do with that, but its always good to do a boost leak test after doing stuff like that.

boost test was fine. the surge is like the car gets some throttle that i didnt give and "lunges" forward a bit while on the brakes. Thats the best way i can explain. Im gonna try to lessen the timing at idle and see how it reacts

Made adjustments to the timing but no real improvement however I switched out my crushed 9 BOv to my Forge RS and it seems to have gone away . Ill give it some more time to confirm

that is interesting. i was gonna say from your post above it sounded like throttle hang, because you said the car lunges forward. I use the forge rs also I love it.. nice bov and very easy to adjust.

Can you explain "throttle hang"? Is this some thing that could be adjusted by the ECU
